Directions EMEA 2025 Business Central with a New
Look, New
Features, Lots of
AI, and
a Major Milestone

Directions EMEA 2025 took place in Poznań, Poland, from November 4 to 6. Once again this year, the entire European Dynamics community gathered to learn about and discuss innovations, trends, visions for the future, and best practices related to Business Central and the Microsoft ecosystem. The three-day event was attended by over 3,000 participants from more than 600 companies in 60 countries.

Some Highlights and Key Points of the Event

At the start of the conference, Microsoft announced an exciting new development: the Business Central logo will be given a fresh new look in the upcoming version. The motto is “Same Power - New Look.” With its more modern look, Microsoft is now ensuring consistent branding across all apps and services. The new BC logo fits in very well with the other Microsoft product logos:

Mike Morton (Vice President, Dynamics 365 Business Central) emphasized that the new Business Central logo symbolized the product’s transformation toward even deeper integration with AI technologies. The solution has evolved from a traditional ERP system to an intelligent, fully integrated business platform.

At this point, in addition to looking ahead, it is also interesting to take a brief look back: this is how the Business Central logo has evolved visually over the years:

Artificial Intelligence and Agents

Microsoft now refers to Business Central as an “AI-first business application.” The ERP solution is increasingly using AI-powered technologies to improve the efficiency and automation of business processes.

Two new intelligent agents have been generally available since November:

  • Sales Order Agent: This agent enables intelligent order processing. Sales orders can be entered automatically.

  • Payables Agent: This agent is used for automated invoice processing. It simplifies accounts payable by importing invoices and automatically capturing information. This saves time and reduces errors.

50,000 Companies Worldwide use Business Central

Business Central is now available in 242 countries and regions. At Directions EMEA 2025, Microsoft also announced that 50,000 companies are already working with the solution - a major milestone for the technology group and a remarkable leap compared to the 45,000 customers announced at Directions North America in April.

Conclusion on Directions EMEA 2025: Artificial Intelligence, Automation, and Integration will determine Future Development

Directions EMEA 2025 showed that Microsoft is particularly focused on the topics of artificial intelligence, automation, and integration in Business Central.

It is clear how much AI is shaping and driving the future of Business Central. The task now is to integrate the new AI tools in such a way that they optimally support processes in companies. Human expertise remains indispensable for this.

📅 Outlook: The next Directions EMEA will take place in Paris in October 2026. It will be exciting to see how Business Central develops between now and then.
