15 Years of AGOLUTION Anniversary Celebration on
the MS Guenther
We weighed anchor โ and cast off in the harbor - with the famous MS Guenther. The 15th anniversary celebration of AGOLUTION took place there in December 2024. It was an unforgettable evening in an extraordinary location with great conversations, delicious food and many other highlights. ๐
15 Years of AGOLUTION
โAhoi, ihr Landratten!โ (can be translated as: โAhoy, you landlubbers!โ) - with these words, the team and their partners had been invited to a special celebration. The 15th anniversary of AGOLUTION was coming up in 2024. ๐
The team had received the invitation to the anniversary celebration in digital form.
A special celebration calls for a special location: so we didn’t hesitate and boarded the MS Guenther for an evening. ๐ดโโ ๏ธ We sailed with her for several hours along the Dortmund-Ems Canal. ๐ข
From Muenster to Senden and back
The MS Guenther describes itself as a โfloating event locationโ, named after the presenter Guenther Jauch. If you’re from Muenster, you’ve certainly seen her sail across the canal ๐.
The ship can be hired for both private parties and corporate events. In addition to several tables where you can sit together comfortably, there is also a bar and an outdoor area on deck where guests can get some fresh air in between.
As befits the occasion, the entire ship was decorated in AGOLUTION design that evening: we hoisted our flag, there were large banners with our company logo in the outdoor area and all the tables were decorated with the AGOLUTION heart as well as self-designed napkins and beer mats.
Quiz, Goodies for the Team and a Thank You for Tim and Marc - the Highlights of the Evening
After a brief welcome, we first sat together and enjoyed a few starters and drinks. ๐น Soon afterwards, the buffet ๐ฝ๏ธ was opened. Of course, there was also something for vegetarians and vegans.
A (Digital) Quiz ensured a Lively Atmosphere
For the next item on the program, three teams were formed, which then competed against each other in an exciting quiz duel. The whole thing was moderated by Tim and Tobias.
After each question, which was shown on a large TV screen, the team members had time to discuss and submit their answers via a tablet. The quicker the answer was received, the more points were awarded for the correct answer. Logically, the team with the most points won in the end. ๐ช
A Thank You to Tim and Marc
If Tim and Marc had not decided to found AGOLUTION 15 years ago, our team would not exist today - so a special thank you from the team went to the two of them, including a personalized gift: the team had framed a collage for them with words that describe and define the two of them and the AGOLUTION team. ๐

After about five hours sailing across the canal, the MS Guenther docked again at the harbor in Muenster. Everyone who still wanted to party moved on and ended the evening with a few drinks.
As our Remote First strategy means we rarely get together with the whole team, we are all the more pleased that so many team members (some of them accompanied) were on board! ๐
