1975: On April 4, childhood friends Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded the company.
1980: The MS-DOS operating system was launched.
1984: Three young IT professionals developed PC Plus - the first predecessor version of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
1985: Windows 1.0 was released - the first graphical user interface for the MS-DOS environment.
1990: Windows 3.0 revolutionized the PC market. The spread of computers began to accelerate.
1991: The first version of Microsoft Office was released.
1995: Windows 95 came onto the market.
2001: Microsoft launched Windows XP.
2005: Dynamics NAV came onto the market. Microsoft also entered the games console sector with the release of the Xbox 360.
2007: The Microsoft Surface was released.
2011: Microsoft took over the communication service Skype.
2012: The Group launched Windows 8 on the market.
