Cloud and AI as Driving Forces - Azure Revenue up 34%
According to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, cloud and AI is “the driving force of business transformation” across every industry and sector. Microsoft is “innovating across the tech stack to help customers adapt and grow in this new era”. In addition, Nadella said that Azure had surpassed $75 billion in revenue, which was an increase of 34 percent. Revenue had been “driven by growth across all workloads”.

“We closed out the fiscal year with a strong quarter, highlighted by Microsoft Cloud revenue reaching $46.7 billion, up 27% (up 25% in constant currency) year-over-year,” said Amy Hood, Executive Vice President and CFO of Microsoft.
Results for the Entire 2025 Fiscal Year
Microsoft’s fiscal year ended on June 30, 2025. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the results were as follows:
- Revenue amounted to $281.7 billion, an increase of 15%.
- Operating income came in at $128.5 billion, up 17% (18% in constant currency)
- Net income was $101.8 billion, up 16% (15% in constant currency)
- Earnings per share amounted to $13.64, up 16%
